This End Table was completed on May 25 2007.


The Brooks Woodworks End Table was inspired by the Thorsen Table Challenge on the Lumberjocks web site.  When the contest started, we thought what type of end table would a common person buy if they could not afford the Thorsen Table?  As a result, the Brooks Woodworks End Table was born.

This table features a mission style look, with the spindles on the sides.  The table top features a solid piece raised panel, with a slight bevel on the edges.  The table is made from solid Red Oak. 

The finish on this table is shellac, with no staining used.  This brings out the nice rich color of the oak, and complements a variety of settings.

This table is currently awaiting a home.
